The Union of Lorca in the National Labour Confederation (CNT-AIT) has decided to go to the town of Mazarrón «to bring some clarity to the avalanche of repression and lies that we have received from the town hall»
It seems that Mazarrón does not allow a Trade Union to do what you have to do, which is defending workers.
Our stance on the conflict in the treatment plant in Mazarron with Facsa and Aqualia has always been the same, and from the beginning made as two years have made it very clear: won’t stop until the reinstatement of the companion. And as time passes it increases the intensity of our protests, which has resulted in that City Hall has changed its attitude, from the passivity of the beginning to the repression that are trying to make us shut up, hiding with an image to confuse and manipulate the press campaign.
Already there are three fines that have received by pasting posters of the Union, particularly in the last years we have made: posters calling the General strike of 29 March, the information campaign on Facsa and Aqualia, and that announcing the manifestation of September 1 at the port of Mazarron and Santiago de la Ribera. Three fines totaling 1503 euros, by making use of our freedom of expression and keep informed of citizenship of these matters of interest for the working class. CNT does not receive subsidies from the State, or anyone, remains with the quotas of its members, so this campaign continued fines is an attempt to clear economic suffocation. And the worst thing is that we expect more, because every resource our respond to a new fine.
When a member of the CNT went to del Ginés Campillo Mayor after the municipal plenary session of September, asking to respect our rights, and giving him a festive flyer, the Mayor replied that we do not mintiéramos. We have not lied to anyone. We are going with high face, defending what is fair. They can not say the same thing on the computer of the City Government, here is a sample of statements that we wish to deny:
… «here not be pursuing anyone (in allusion to the CNT), but there are regulations and municipal ordinances that must be respected.» False. They use the law to attack with her whom want, since no one is fulfilled (because it is impossible) or perhaps have fined the Popular University? Or circuses? Or all the promoters of many concerts and summer festivals? And to the Ministry of the environment, and the City Council of Mazarrón? or to Fuente Alamo and Lorca? And 2nd hand markets? the gambling of the Marina? All these and many more periodically announce their activities on the walls of the village without permission. We affirm this end since when a delegation of the Trade Union requested the authorization at City Hall, it was found that such permission does not exist in reality, and they recognized that nobody has gone before to ask for it. «The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the rest of Councillors want to make it absolutely clear that no time had attempted to prevent anything» (in reference to the manifestation of September 1) false. Yes that tried. When asked from the Government delegation if there are causes that warrant change of date or place the demonstration, claimed multitude of causes. «.. .the first mayor is waiting for the Union people at City Hall told where they were going to go to ask for different information on the situation of the dismissal of one of its affiliates of the sewage treatment plant of Mazarrón»: false. Such documentation asked partner in June, and received no reply. That is why the Union again ordered in July, without answers. When we read it in the newspapers, (mid-September) ran a delegation in the Council, to receive the documents, which were not delivered because not the Trade Union nor the companion was authorized to receive it. Later issued a decree authorizing (upon payment of 12’50 €), to do so, but only one of them, when we asked many more. In particular we have been given the contract of the Municipal Service of waters, the refusal of the City Council had already located the Union by another route, which had months posted on the blog of the conflict.
This should add the bad memory of Councillor of services, Juan Miguel Muñoz Blaya, which surprised everyone in the trial by the dismissal stating that he was unaware of our colleague, trade union militancy, what was decisive for you do not condemn companies by trade union repression. He had apparently forgotten everything that he lived in the sewage treatment plant, and was the only enterprise that did not know.
We want to make it clear to all the people and the media we are not going to stop, we will continue fighting for the reinstatement of the companion, we will continue addressing neighbors Mazarrón to inform all that we deem necessary.
And we want to mobilize the neighbors and social movements, since this attitude is very dangerous for all, there is to go out and defend our freedoms now that they are in danger.
Finally, denounce the irresponsible attitude of the companies, who repeatedly refuse to comply with its commitment to return to the companion to their work as soon as they had the first vacancy, hiring new staff on several occasions without inform us to us nor to the worker.
El Sindicato de Lorca de la Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT-AIT) ha decidido dirigirse al pueblo de Mazarrón «para poner un poco de claridad ante la avalancha de represión y mentiras que nos ha llegado desde el Ayuntamiento»
Parece que en Mazarrón no se consiente que un sindicato haga lo que tiene que hacer, que es defender a los trabajadores.
Nuestra postura en el conflicto de la depuradora de Mazarrón con Facsa y Aqualia ha sido siempre el mismo, y desde el comienzo hace ya dos años lo hemos dejado muy claro: no pararemos hasta conseguir la readmisión del compañero. Y a medida que el tiempo pasa aumenta la intensidad de nuestras protestas, lo que ha provocado que el Ayuntamiento haya cambiado de actitud, desde la pasividad del principio hasta la represión con que intentan hacernos callar, ocultándose con una campaña de imagen encaminada a confundir y manipular a la prensa.
Son ya tres multas las que hemos recibido por pegar carteles del sindicato, concretamente en las últimas campañas que hemos realizado: Carteles convocando la Huelga General del 29 de Marzo, la campaña informativa sobre Facsa y Aqualia, y los que anunciaban la manifestación del 1 de septiembre en el Puerto de Mazarrón y Santiago de la Ribera. Tres multas que suman 1503 euros, por hacer uso de nuestra libertad de expresión y por mantener informada a la ciudadanía de estos asuntos de interés para toda la clase trabajadora. La CNT no recibe subvenciones del Estado, ni de nadie, se mantiene con las cuotas de sus afiliados, por lo que esta campaña continuada de multas es un intento claro de asfixia económica. Y lo peor es que esperamos más, porque a cada recurso nuestro le responden con una multa nueva.
Cuando un miembro de la CNT se dirigió al alcalde Ginés Campillo tras el pleno municipal de septiembre, pidiendo que respete nuestros derechos, y entregándole una octavilla reivindicativa, el alcalde le respondió que no mintiéramos. Nosotros no hemos mentido a nadie. Vamos con la cara bien alta, defendiendo lo justo. No pueden decir lo mismo en el equipo de gobierno del ayuntamiento, aquí va una muestra de afirmaciones que queremos desmentir:
- …“que aquí no se persigue a nadie (en alusión a la CNT), sino que existen unas normativas y ordenanzas municipales que hay que cumplir.” Falso. Usan la ley para atacar con ella a quien quieren, ya que nadie la cumple (porque es imposible) O ¿Acaso han multado a la Universidad Popular? ¿O a los circos? ¿O a todos los promotores de los muchísimos conciertos y festivales de verano? ¿Y al Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, y el Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón? ¿o al de Fuente Álamo y el de Lorca? ¿Y los mercadillos de 2ª mano? ¿los garitos del muelle deportivo? Todos estos y muchísimos más anuncian periódicamente sus actividades en las paredes del pueblo sin autorización. Afirmamos este extremo ya que cuando una delegación del Sindicato pidió la autorización en el Ayuntamiento, comprobó que tal autorización no existe en la realidad, y reconocieron que nadie ha ido con anterioridad a pedirla. Si estamos equivocados, que lo demuestren documentalmente.
- “El Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, y el resto de concejales quieren dejar absolutamente claro que en ningún momento se ha intentado impedir nada” (en referencia a la manifestación del 1 de septiembre) Falso. Sí que lo intentó. Cuando le preguntaron desde la Delegación de Gobierno si hay causas que aconsejen cambiar de fecha o lugar la manifestación, alegó multitud de causas. Luego intentó impedirlo, lo que pasa es que en Murcia no le hicieron ni caso. - “…el primer edil está a la espera de que el sindicato se persone en el Ayuntamiento donde le dijeron que iban a acudir para solicitarle diversa información sobre la situación del despido de uno de sus afiliados de la depuradora de Mazarrón”: Falso. Esa documentación la pidió el compañero en junio, y no recibió respuesta. Por ese motivo el Sindicato la volvió a pedir en julio, SIN OBTENER RESPUESTA. Cuando leímos eso en los periódicos,( A mediados de septiembre) se presentó una delegación en el Ayuntamiento, para recibir los documentos, que no fueron entregados porque no estaba autorizado el Sindicato ni el compañero para recibirlo. Más tarde publicaron un decreto autorizando para ello, (previo pago de 12’50€), pero sólo uno de ellos, cuando pedíamos muchos más. En concreto nos han dado el contrato del Servicio Municipal de Aguas, que ante la negativa del Ayuntamiento ya había localizado el Sindicato por otra vía, y llevaba meses publicado en el blog del conflicto.
- A esto hay que añadir la mala memoria del concejal de Servicios, Juan Miguel Muñoz Blaya, que sorprendió a todos en el juicio por el despido declarando que desconocía la militancia sindical de nuestro compañero, lo que fue decisivo para que no se condenase a las empresas por represión sindical. Al parecer había olvidado todo lo que vivió en la Depuradora, y era el único en toda la empresa que no lo sabía.
Queremos dejar claro a todo el pueblo y a los Medios que no nos van a parar, seguiremos luchando por la readmisión del compañero, seguiremos dirigiéndonos a los vecinos de Mazarrón para informar de todo lo que consideremos necesario.
Y queremos movilizar a los vecinos y movimientos sociales, ya que esta actitud es muy peligrosa para todos, hay que salir a defender nuestras libertades ahora que se encuentran en peligro.
Por último, denunciar la actitud irresponsable de las empresas, que se niegan reiteradamente a cumplir con su compromiso de devolver al compañero a su trabajo en cuanto tuvieran la primera vacante, contratando en varias ocasiones a personal nuevo sin comunicárnoslo a nosotros ni al trabajador.
Aquí están jugando todos sucio, menos los trabajadores.
