7 artists of the school of Arts and crafts of Murcia exhibit proposals paintings and sculptures of quality

 

Until November 4 you can visit the «Points of view» exhibition which shows the pictorial and sculptural proposals of 7 artists who are joined by the school of Arts and crafts of Murcia in the Town Hall of Mazarrón. They are Ana Carrillo, Amalia Rodríguez, Fernando Carrillo, Fernando toothache, José Rizzo, Rodrigo Pérez and Sofía Tornero. Almost all yesterday were present during the opening of the exhibition that was in charge of the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the Councillor for culture, María Celeste Soria.

 

Soria congratulated the artists «for giving us this show which opened fall and where the exposures as well its name, will delight us with different points of view on contemporary art». In the basement of the Town Hall have been arranged the works of sculpture while on the second floor, as well as some sculptures, several paintings are also exposed. The works stand out as an underlined quality despite the fact that their authors are people very young and emerging within the art world.

 

José Rizzo, on behalf of the Group of artists, thanked the City Council of Mazarrón the willingness to host this exhibition and wished that visitors who come to the town hall «are wrapped by exposure and know how to capture what we want to convey to the public». The sample you can visit in the historic building from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and Thursday and Friday from 17 to 20 hours; with the exception of Saturday 27 October, as the last Saturday of the month, the Town Hall are closed.

 

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, also gave congratulate the artists for their work and commented them that «you can feel very proud to happen to two geniuses of art such as Salvador Dali and Pedro Cano to which we have had in this space during this intense year in which we celebrate the 440 anniversary of the granting of the privilege of Villa». The Mayor urged citizens and tourists passing through the town hall «in order that people will appreciate it in proportion.» «I’ve already seen and I think it is wonderful.»

7 artistas de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Murcia exponen propuestas pictóricas y escultóricas de destaca calidad

Hasta el 4 de noviembre se puede visitar en las Casas Consistoriales de Mazarrón la exposición “Puntos de Vista” que muestra las propuestas pictóricas y escultóricas de 7 artistas a los que les une la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Murcia. Ellos son Ana Carrillo, Amalia Rodríguez, Fernando Carrillo, Fernando Muelas, José Rizzo, Rodrigo Pérez y Sofía Tornero. Casi todos estuvieron ayer presentes durante la inauguración de la muestra que corrió a cargo del Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, y la concejala de Cultura, María Celeste Soria.

Soria felicitó a los artistas “por regalarnos esta muestra con la que inauguramos las exposiciones del otoño y en la que, como bien indica su nombre, podremos deleitarnos con diferentes puntos de vista sobre el arte contemporáneo”. En el sótano de las Casas Consistoriales se han dispuesto las obras escultóricas mientras que en la segunda planta, además de algunas esculturas, también se exponen diversas pinturas. Las obras destacan por ser de una subrayada calidad a pesar de que sus autores son personas muy jóvenes y emergentes dentro del mundo del arte.

José Rizzo, en representación del grupo de artistas, agradeció al Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón la buena predisposición para acoger esta muestra y deseó que los visitantes que se acerquen hasta las Casas Consistoriales “queden envueltos por la exposición y sepan captar lo que queremos trasmitir al público”. La muestra se puede visitar en el histórico edificio de lunes a sábado de 10 a 14 horas y jueves y viernes de 17 a 20 horas; a excepción del sábado 27 de octubre que, al ser último sábado de mes, las Casas Consistoriales se mantienen cerradas.

El Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, también dio la enhorabuena a los artistas por su trabajo y les comentó que “podéis sentiros muy orgullosos por suceder a dos genios del arte como son Salvador Dalí y Pedro Cano a los que hemos tenido en este espacio durante este intenso año en el que celebramos el 440 Aniversario de la concesión del Privilegio de Villa”. El primer edil e instó a los ciudadanos y turistas a pasar por las Casas Consistoriales “con el fin de que la gente sepa apreciarla en su justa medida. Yo ya la he visto y me parece una maravilla”.
