Aprobada la denominación de 3 calles y de un jardín que no tenía todavía denominación
El Pleno Municipal del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón aprobó este pasado martes por unanimidad una propuesta de Alcaldía en la que se instaba a la consejería de Educación, Universidades y Empleo a revocar la orden que suprimía de las enseñanzas de ciclo formativo de Grado Superior de Administración y Finanzas en el I.E.S «Domingo Valdivieso» de Mazarrón para el próximo curso. Tal y como alegó el Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, «la decisión de la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia es una medida discriminatoria, ya que no será posible encontrar estos estudios en un radio inferior a 30 kilómetros».
El primer edil explicó que, «según nos trasladaron desde la consejería, se procedería a la desaparición gradual del ciclo. Es decir, el primer curso del mismo se eliminaría el próximo año escolar 2013/2014, mientras que para el segundo curso está prevista su desaparición en el año escolar 2014/2015. Un hecho que no podemos tolerar pues es un ataque contra la igualdad de oportunidades para los jóvenes de Mazarrón y contra el derecho a la educación, incidiendo negativamente en el desarrollo económico y formativo del municipio». La propuesta del Alcalde salió adelante con el apoyo de todos los concejales de la corporación municipal.
El Pleno aprobó también por unanimidad la denominación de varias calles y un jardín del municipio que todavía no tenían nombre asignado. La concejala de Estadística, Matilde Blázquez, expuso que «debido a la revisión de numeración de calles que estamos llevando a cabo desde mi departamento, hemos detectado la presencia de 3 viales en la zona del Club de Regatas que no tienen denominación».
Por ello la calle de entrada al Hotel Bahía pasará a denominarse ‘Almirante Moreno Barberá’, ligado por lazos familiares a Puerto de Mazarrón ocupando el cargo de Jefe del Estado Mayor. Asimismo, la calle paralela a la calle ‘Sevilla’ y que une los viales ‘Concha Candau’ con ‘Noruega’, pasará a llamarse ‘Mateo García Martínez», corresponsal de prensa y radio quien, además de realizar numerosas crónicas del municipio en estos medios, ha donado parte de las mismas al Archivo Municipal.
Finalmente, la calle que hay junto al Club de Regatas y que da acceso al mirador del Cabezo de la Cebada, pasará a denominarse ‘Agustín López Cano’ «El Rapao», por la gran vinculación con el mar y con el municipio de este conocido vecino quien, habiendo desempeñado el cargo de Contramaestre del mismo, ostenta diferentes condecoraciones por acciones de salvamento en nuestras costas.
Además, el jardín situado en el centro del barrio de San Isidro se denominará ‘Josefa Martín López’ «Pepa La Galla», por el cariño que se le profesaba a esta vecina quien, desinteresadamente, realizó durante muchos años labores de comadrona y apadrinamiento de niños y niñas del citado barrio, siendo grande el cariño y respeto que le profesan sus vecinos por su carácter solidario que ha dejado huella en el popular barrio.
También salió adelante, con los votos a favor del Equipo de Gobierno, la propuesta de Hacienda para modificar diversas ordenanzas fiscales y aprobar tasa por la expedición de la denominada «tarjeta de armas». Como comentó el edil del área, Andrés Valera, «tras la entrada en vigor de la Ordenanza Municipal reguladora del otorgamiento de Licencias Urbanísticas, se hace necesario adecuar diversas ordenanzas fiscales a dicha norma».
Se modifican así la Ordenanza Reguladora de las tasas por la realización de la actividad administrativa de expedición de documentos sobre expedientes de Urbanismo y Medio Ambiente y la Ordenanza Reguladora del Impuesto sobre Construcciones, Instalaciones y Obras. Añadiéndose a la expedición de los documentos municipales en general, el de expedición de tarjetas de armas por valor de 12 euros. Las modificaciones serán ahora publicadas en el Boletín Oficial de la Región de Murcia (BORM), pudiendo presentarse alegaciones en el plazo correspondiente.
Finalmente, se aprobó por unanimidad la propuesta de Participación Ciudadana defendida por David Fernández para «la constitución formal, en el plazo de dos meses a contar desde su aprobación, de la Comisión de Seguimiento y Control del servicio de suministro de agua y alcantarillado del municipio de Mazarrón». Una comisión que estará presidida por el Alcalde, Ginés Campillo, y que contará con representación de todos los partidos políticos presentes en el Pleno Municipal.
Asimismo, se aprobaron, sólo con los votos a favor del Equipo de Gobierno, dos mociones del Grupo Municipal Socialista. Ambas fueron defendidas por la concejala de Sanidad y Política Social, María Martínez. En la primera, se instaba a la consejería de Sanidad y Política Social, «a la inmediata apertura, durante los meses de agosto y septiembre, del consultorio médico de La Majada, así como a la dotación del personal sanitario necesario para restituir el correcto funcionamiento del servicio, evitando que los vecinos de las zonas rurales queden desatendidos por los injustos recortes llevados a cabo por la Comunidad Autónoma, mientras vemos cómo aumentan los conciertos privados».
En la otra moción, se instaba a la misma consejería a que no se pongan en práctica las medidas en materia de Política Social aprobadas mediante la Ley 6/2013 del pasado 8 de julio que «supondrían una merma directa de la capacidad económica de las familias con personas dependientes a su cargo por dos vías. Por un lado, la reducción del 33% del complemento de análoga naturaleza de forma indiscriminada y, por otro, el aumento del copago a causa de los nuevos criterios para calcular la capacidad económica». Unas medidas que «no podemos aceptar por afectar directamente a los usuarios de nuestro Centro Municipal de Día de Personas Discapacitadas, a los que con esta moción mostramos nuestro apoyo», recalcó la edil.

The full Municipal of the City Council of Mazarrón last Tuesday unanimously approved a proposal from Mayor’s Office urged the Ministry of education, universities and employment to revoke the order that removed from the teachings of formative cycle of higher degree of administration and finance in the I.E.S de Mazarrón «Domingo Valdivieso» for next year. The plenum also unanimously adopted the denomination of several streets and a garden of the municipality which still had no name assigned. Councillor for statistics, Matilde Blázquez, stated that «due to revision of numbering of streets that we are carrying out from my Department, we have detected the presence of 3 vials in the area of the Racing Club of having no denomination».
Why the entrance to the Hotel Bay Street will be renamed ‘Admiral Moreno Barberá’, linked by family ties to Puerto de Mazarron occupying the position of Chief of the General staff. «In addition, the street parallel to the street ‘Sevilla’ and une vials ‘Concha Candau’ with ‘Norway’, it will be called ‘ Mateo García Martínez», press and radio correspondent who, in addition to numerous Chronicles of the municipality in these media, has donated part of the same to the Municipal Archives.

As commented the Councillor for the area, Andrés Valera, «following the entry into force of the Ordinance Municipal urban development licensing regulation, becomes necessary to adapt different fiscal Ordinances to this rule».
They are thus modified the Ordinance regulating the rates for the realization of the administrative activity of issuing documents on records of urbanism and environment and the regulatory tax Ordinance on constructions, installations and works. In addition, two motions for the Socialist Municipal group were approved, only with the votes in favour of the Government team. Both were screened by the Councillor for health and Social policy, María Martínez. In the first, urged the Ministry of health and Social policy, «to immediate opening, during the months of August and September, the doctor of the flock, as well as staffing the health care necessary to reinstate the correct functioning of the service, avoiding that the residents of rural areas are underserved by unfair cuts carried out by the autonomous communityWhile we see how to increase the private concerts».
In another motion, urged the same counseling to not implemented measures in Social policy approved by law 6/2013 on July 8 that «would mean a direct loss of the economic capacity of families with dependent persons in charge in two ways.
