Mazarrón day Center celebrates 4 years of lifeEl centro de día de Mazarrón celebra sus 4 años de vida

Manuel Pozanco was honored as «Mayor of the year» and gave the Center a box for this recognition.

 

On October 5 the Centre of Mazarron day commemorated his four years once the celebration would be postponed a week due to the instability of weather. Despite the change, the birthday was carried out as planned and while Manuel Pozanco as «Mayor of the year», who has excelled for her selfless work with the activities and workshops held in the Center is honored. The appointment was attended by the Councillor of Social policy and equality, María Martínez, and the councilmen Magdalena Mendez and Andrés Valera.

 

The evening began with a performance by the local interpreter of Spanish song Andrea Agüera who deployed on stage all his art, encouraging those present with a solid full of singing and dancing performance. Music has played a key role not only with this show, but also with the performance of the coral of the day centre which, once again, demonstrated his quality has been reached thanks to the effort and the constancy of its components and its director, José Ramón Rodríguez.

 

The tribute is then performed to Manuel Pozanco which gave to the day Center a painting by the same in gratitude for this recognition and which shows the bridge from the Tower of London, as one of the symbols of the Olympic Games held this year in the British capital. The evening ended with the performance of the theatre «La ilusión» of sewer group and Councillors and attendees enthusiastically singing happy birthday in unison.

 

The Director of the center of day, Isabel Martínez, stressed the «excellent work of participation of Board who has worked very hard to have this magnificent scenery that today we released and that we should congratulate for his great work on the Center ready for birthday». Martinez also encouraged all elders to «participate in the workshops and activities that we carry out, since we make them for you all and for you, and we want you to participate in them with us».

 

For its part, the Councillor of Social policy and equality, María Martínez, thanked those present «that have left me share with you this celebration and this year full of activities». The Mayor also praised the work of the coral in the center of day «that participate and act on all the activities that we ask» and the involvement of Manuel Pozanco «who turns interested with everything what we program from this place which is meeting point for our elders of Mazarrón».

Manuel Pozanco fue homenajeado como “Mayor del Año” y regaló un cuadro al Centro por este reconocimiento.

El pasado viernes 5 de octubre el Centro de Día de Mazarrón conmemoró sus cuatro años de vida después de que la celebración tuviese que aplazarse una semana por la inestabilidad del tiempo atmosférico. A pesar del cambio, el cumpleaños se llevó a cabo según lo previsto y durante el mismo se homenajeó a Manuel Pozanco como “Mayor del Año”, quien ha sobresalido por su labor desinteresada con las actividades y talleres realizados en el Centro. A la cita asistieron la concejala de Política Social e Igualdad, María Martínez, y los ediles Magdalena Méndez y Andrés Valera.

La tarde comenzó con la actuación de la intérprete local de canción española Andrea Agüera quien desplegó sobre el escenario todo su arte, animando a los presentes con una sólida actuación repleta de cante y baile. La música tuvo un papel esencial no sólo con este espectáculo, sino también con la actuación de la coral del Centro de Día que, una vez más, demostró su calidad alcanzada gracias al esfuerzo y la constancia de sus componentes y su director, José Ramón Rodríguez.

A continuación, se realizó el homenaje a Manuel Pozanco que entregó al Centro de Día un cuadro realizado por el mismo en agradecimiento por este reconocimiento y en el que se muestra el Puente de la Torre de Londrés, como uno de los símbolos de las Olimpiadas celebradas este año en la capital británica. La tarde finalizó con la actuación del grupo de teatro “La Ilusión” de Alcantarilla y con los concejales y asistentes cantando con ilusión el cumpleaños feliz al unísono.

La directora del Centro de Día, Isabel Martínez, destacó la “excelente labor de la Junta de Participación quien ha trabajado mucho para poder tener listo para el cumpleaños este magnífico escenario que hoy estrenamos y a los que debemos felicitar por su gran trabajo en el Centro”. Asimismo, Martínez animó a todos los mayores a “participar en los talleres y actividades que llevamos a cabo, ya que los realizamos para todos vosotros y por vosotros, y queremos que participéis en ellas con nosotros”.

Por su parte, la concejala de Política Social e Igualdad, María Martínez, agradeció a los presentes “que me hayáis dejado compartir con vosotros esta celebración y este año lleno de actividades”. La edil también resaltó la labor de la coral del Centro de Día “que participan y actúan en todas las actividades que les solicitamos” y la implicación de Manuel Pozanco “quien se vuelca interesadamente con todo aquello que programamos desde este lugar que es punto de encuentro para nuestros mayores de Mazarrón”.
