The activity ended with a merienda-cena at the bar «The bridge» in the flock
Last Saturday was carried out with great success the route organised by the Department of sports to the sierra de Las Herrerías, which was attended by 70 adventurers who greatly enjoyed the tour that took them behind the Coto Fortuna to the tank of water in the area; After going through the picnic area of the forest, the forest refuge and the corner of Zamora.
Among them was a group of hikers from Campos del Río that have already become some participants is typical of this type of activities organized by the consistory, as well as citizens of other provinces such as Madrid and Zaragoza who have come to spend their vacations to the municipality. All were like breathtaking views that could delight during the tour.

El pasado sábado se realizó con gran éxito la ruta organizada por la concejalía de Deportes a la sierra de Las Herrerías en la que participaron 70 aventureros que disfrutaron enormemente con el recorrido que los llevó por detrás del Coto Fortuna hasta el depósito de agua de la zona; pasando después por el merendero de los forestales, el refugio forestal y el Rincón de Zamora.
Entre ellos se contaba un grupo de senderistas de Campos del Río que ya se han convertido en unos participantes habituales de este tipo de actividades organizadas por el consistorio, así como ciudadanos de otras provincias como Madrid o Zaragoza que han venido a pasar sus vacaciones al municipio. Todos quedaron prendados de las impresionantes vistas con las que pudieron deleitarse durante el recorrido.
La actividad contó con la colaboración del club de senderismo “Amigos de la Naturaleza”. Su presidente, Rafael Peral, ha querido dar “mi especial agradecimiento a Pedro, Miguel y Pascual, guías de la ruta”. La actividad finalizó con una merienda-cena que los participantes compartieron en el bar “El Puente” situado en la pedanía de Majada y donde se citarón para una nueva ruta que les llevará a subir El Talayón el próximo mes de septiembre.
