«Marlango» Group adds a new success to the 440 anniversary of the privilege.

Puerto de Mazarrón se volcó anoche con la celebración de la festividad de la Asunción de la Virgen mostrando gran devoción durante la misa oficiada en la Ermita de la Isla por el cura párroco de San Antonio de Padua y San Andrés, Julio Romero. Cientos de ciudadanos, entre los que se contaban el Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo; el Teniente alcalde de Urbanismo, Francisco García; y la concejala de Desarrollo Rural, Magdalena Méndez; acompañaron después a la imagen de María por los alrededores de la playa de la Ermita y el Club de Regatas durante una procesión que cada año reúne a un mayor número de fieles.
Pero la celebración no quedó ahí. Finalizada la procesión, el paseo “Agustín Herrerín” acogió el concierto del grupo “Alarmantiks” cuyos componentes demostraron que llevan el espectáculo en las venas. Los hermanos Rodrigo, Alejandro, Gonzalo y Alonso Aragón, descendientes de la gran saga de artistas circenses con ese apellido, presentaron en primicia su último trabajo titulado “Volar” ante decenas de personas que agradecieron la realización de este concierto en las inmediaciones de la playa de La Ermita. Con este espectáculo, la concejalía de Festejos ha querido “resaltar la festividad de la Asunción diversificando los espacios en los que programamos las actividades veraniegas. Algo que continuaremos fomentado”, ha destacado el edil del área Isidro Coy.
En este sentido, la concejalía de Festejos ha realizado “un especial esfuerzo para que este año pudiésemos volver a disfrutar de buena música durante el mes de agosto y más este año que conmemoramos nuestros 440 años de Historia”, ha explicado Coy. Además del magnífico concierto de la banda “Liverpool” del pasado lunes, el martes el grupo “Marengo” se sumó a la celebración de la concesión del Privilegio con otro gran concierto que ha supuesto un nuevo éxito dentro de esta conmemoración. El concejal de Festejos ha declarado que “nos hubiese gustado promover el espectáculo de fuegos artificiales con motivo del día de la Asunción, pero no están los tiempos como para quemar el dinero”.
Hoy la música de manos de la Rondalla de Mazarrón llega al jardín “Roque Moreno Gaurinos” donde se le realizará un homenaje a este querido vecino y, a partir del sábado, el Recinto Ferial de Mazarrón acogerá la celebración de las fiestas en honor a la Virgen del Cisne que también contarán con espectáculos musicales, bailes tradicionales latinoamericanos y gastronomía típica de Ecuador.
