Luisa María Heredia is the new President of this body in Mazarrón
Hall of plenary sittings of the Town Hall of Mazarron yesterday welcomed the presentation of the new board room of the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC) in Mazarrón and the appointment of its components. The event was chaired by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and counted with the presence of the President of the AECC in the Region of Murcia, Agustín Navarrete, the Treasurer of the Organization, Juan Moreno, and the Member of the Research Committee of this body, Alonso Lajara.
The new President of the Local Board in the municipality is Luisa María Heredia Pérez, while María Isabel Méndez Pérez will act as secretariat. The Treasurer is Jackeline Gálvez, and the vowels are José Sánchez Hernández, Sebastián Zamora Marín, Yolanda Vivancos Blaya, Tomás Pérez Ureña, Isabel María Vivancos Hernández, María José Lorente Hernández, Manuel Coy Romero, Pedro Méndez Lorente, María Rosario Liria López, Francisca Carrillo Pérez, Isabel Rabal Hernández, María Dolores Sánchez Blaya, María Isabel Cerdá Vivancos and Isabel María López Salinero.
The new President said feel excited and thanked the members of the Board «that I join in this project.» «It’s a big challenge that we will work with great enthusiasm and effort» and sent «courage and great force for those who suffer from this disease». In this sense was also expressed Agustín Navarrete which, in addition to explaining the history of this organization, commented that the pillars on which rests the AECC are the ‘ inform and raise awareness about this disease and support and accompany the patient ‘.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, was very pleased that «again to walk in the municipality this partnership which had been left a little stop» and called on its members to «work with all the enthusiasm that this project deserves». Also, the Mayor undertook to assign a space so that the Local Board of Mazarrón can meet and carry out the tasks which it is called. In this sense, Navarrete already yesterday gave some tips to prevent cancer that «it is always better than cure it». Among them was not smoking, drinking in moderation, do not sunbathe with excess or do some exercise every day.

El Salón de Plenos de las Casas Consistoriales de Mazarrón acogió ayer la presentación de la nueva Junta Local de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) en Mazarrón y el nombramiento de sus componentes. El acto estuvo presidido por el Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, y contó con la presencia del presidente de la AECC en la Región de Murcia, Agustín Navarrete, el tesorero de la organización, Juan Moreno, y el miembro del Comité de Investigación de este organismo, Alonso Lajara.
La nueva presidenta de la Junta Local en el municipio es Luisa María Heredia Pérez, mientras que María Isabel Méndez Pérez hará las veces de secretaria. La tesorera es Jackeline Gálvez y los vocales son José Sánchez Hernández, Sebastián Zamora Marín, Yolanda Vivancos Blaya, Tomás Pérez Ureña, Isabel María Vivancos Hernández, María José Lorente Hernández, Manuel Coy Romero, Pedro Méndez Lorente, María Rosario Liria López, Francisca Carrillo Pérez, Isabel Rabal Hernández, María Dolores Sánchez Blaya, María Isabel Cerdá Vivancos e Isabel María López Salinero.
La nueva presidenta dijo sentirse emocionada y agradeció a los miembros de la junta “que me acompañéis en este proyecto. Es un gran reto en el que vamos a trabajar con gran ilusión y esfuerzo” y envió “mucho ánimo y mucha fuerza para aquellas personas que sufren esta enfermedad”. En este sentido se expresó también Agustín Navarrete que, además de explicar la historia de esta organización, comentó que los pilares sobre los que se asienta la AECC son los de “informar y concienciar a la sociedad sobre esta enfermedad y apoyar y acompañar al enfermo”.
El Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, se mostró muy satisfecho de que “vuelva a caminar en el municipio esta asociación que se había quedado un poco parada” y llamó a sus miembros a “trabajar con toda la ilusión que este proyecto se merece”. Asimismo, el primer edil se comprometió a destinar un espacio para que la Junta Local de Mazarrón pueda reunirse y llevar a cabo los cometidos a los que está llamada. En este sentido, Navarrete ya dio ayer unos consejos para prevenir el cáncer que “siempre es mucho mejor que curarlo”. Entre ellos destacó no fumar, beber con moderación, no tomar el sol con exceso o hacer diariamente algo de ejercicio.
